Any good cheap distortion pedals floating around on Amazon?

I got both the Joyo British Sound and California Sound and returned them.

The British sound was the better one, but it just didn't have enough balls! The Voice knob was hard to dial in.

The California Sound was awful.  The first one I got was broken, so I returned it and got another.  The sound wasn't good.  When I turned the Voice knob up full on the California sound I got a weird suboctave overtone when I wasn't playing. 

I might get the Golden Brownie.

You can get a Boss SD-1 *and* a Boss DS-1 for under a hundred quid, and SD-1 into DS-1 will give you classic rock/metal in a box. (Or more accurately two boxes .) Three sounds from two pedals, plus bypass, and works into any amp because it doesn't rely on anything other than a good clean sound.

I have them both!  I have the DS1 40th Anniversary model.  I just fancied something different as I’ve been using them for ages.

Do they take long to be shipped to the UK?

about 2 weeks but quickest has been just 6 days!

Not had one bad sounding or dodgy quality pedal yet.
