Selling my vintage 1977 Marshall JMP 2204 (50W) for £1100 ono. Local pickup preferred from Aberdeen however will post if buyer arranges a suitably insured courier. Originally sourced from James Beatson via eBay.

2204's from the late seventies are quite possibly the pinnacle of the harder - edged Marshall sound that guitarists know and love. Used by everybody from Thin Lizzy to Motörhead, the updated Master Volume heads deliver a classic crunch tone that cuts authentically through a live or studio mix.

Two EL34 power valves deliver an output of 50 watts, controllable via the master volume control to sound great at any volume. This amp is internally 100% original, however the head shell has been professionally reproduced by Paul Gough of Zilla Cabs to exact original specifications. Some tiny cosmetic marks on the front panel however in v. good overall condition with no crackling controls and a working power light.
