Swap the mini buckers out for p90s if they'll fit. Best pickups for an LP imo.

Whatever guage of strings you got on the Tele, go one heavier for the LP

How easy is it to change the pickups?  I also have a V100 and whilst I don't mind the sound of the stock mini humbuckers, I do lack a p90 equipped guitar.

I use 10s on everything...... Can have a go at 11s. I use Dean Markley strings as that is what is easily available locally. Oh, I live in Hungary and engage in rural living so getting stuff can be a bit more complicated than when i was in the UK!

I hadn't realised strings were quite so controversial!
