    She only slowed up when Federal regulations became a hinderance...

  • She was there when I did the fender public tour. Poor old lady mobbed by Japanese tourists who all wanted a picture with her.

    really total marketing hype and somebody thought it was good PR to exploit her long service. Japanese customers lap her up and ask how did she wind jimi Hendrix pickup. Yawn like she had any recollection of any of the hundreds she made that week. 

    The only real real difference is most of the non CS stuff is run on automated machines with no hand guidance.

    but if it helps sell you guitar why not I suppose
