WTB cheap boost pedal

Our guitarist needs a clean boost desperately for our show next week. He plays into a jazz chorus so not looking anything that's going to drive the amp (can't stand the JC driven tone), just a very simple volume boost pedal. 
Thinking along the lines of MXR micro amp, ep booster etc.
Preferably something cheap, but willing to pay a bit extra if it has and eq section or something

I have Boo Boost I can part with for £40 posted, it has a cool green light up lid - not sure it can run off a battery though.

Check out the Donner boost killer.. great for the price! I was going to offer you mine but then I realised it's so cheap to buy new it's worth me just keeping mine for emergencies.

Ive tried several, and the TC Spark Mini - £40 new from Anazon - is a cracker !

Ive just bought a Tone city All-Spark from Andertons for £40 delivered.

same as an Ep booster, but it has toggle switches for EQ settings, rather than the internal dip switches.

Cant fault it so far. Sounds great!
