  • Have you thought about asking on twitter?

But I know you have no followers, so I’d have to ask - tweet to who?

Wire its wings out in the flying position and use as an ironic car bonnet mascot.
    Novelty bottle opener.
Or with a carefully placed stick it could become a handy back-scratcher.

Garlic, bit of thyme, low oven.. lovely!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

WTF kinda (necro) thread is this? Bury the bastard and jump back a few squares to the part where you're getting fleeced by Fender/Gibson/PRS again.

Owl in a bucket man probably beats lesbian with a gun, even in his top hat.

This is amazing. The other week my wife saw a pepsi can from the 1980s shoved down the side of a wall.
I told her to bring it home so I could have a look, but she said no. Can't imagine what she'd say if I told her to go out and collect a dead owl from the side of a road.

My niece has just started to do taxidermy, so if you're anywhere near Bridgend this weekend let me know!
I always thought taxidermy was a dead hobby...

A quick google shows £375 for a taxidermy.....
I thought taxidermy was only for those sickos who enjoy mounting dead animals...

Driving to work today I spotted a barn owl in a lay-by, obviously dead... guess if flew into a lorry or something.
    More likely a drive-by hooting.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

I remember being on holiday somewhere in the UK, and there were small signs in the countryside from a local taxidermist asking for notification if anyone found a dead animal!

    We have a winner. :-)

    The aircraft engine is genius.

When I was at middle school our science teacher ran a lunchtime taxidermy club. There would be about ten of us there disembowelling stoats and weasels while he tackled a badger at the front of the class.

Not sure you'd be allowed to do that in this day and age.

  • We’ve found lots of info here for our new little owl friend

    http://www.jakes-bones.com/p/how-to-clean-animal-bones.html?m=1

Our owl is currently under a bucket in the garden. The wings are amazing and those magical silent feathers, just so soft (they should use owls not puppies to advertise loo roll).

Owl update....the hot weather has brought out the flies and other bugs...and a quick check on our feathered friend revealed a nice collection of well fed maggots.

So the natural method of cleaning the bones is in full swing.

    Pretty good condition?

I don't think the owl would have seen it that way.
