SOLD - FS / FT 60’s Fender Jaguar
Hi, I have been mulling over this for a while and have had tentative feelers out there for a new axe....
The body is 1968 with original sunburst finish, original tort guard, tremolo, switches, screws, neckplate etc...pickups are Mojo Pickups. Currently sporting a 60’s Mustang Bridge.
The neck is an unbound pearl dot 1965, tuners are light relic 2 line Kluson deluxe (except for the A string), original frets have tonnes of life left, almost perfect condition.
I have a couple of 60’s Jaguars and this is by far the best playing and useable one of the lot, but it’s a last in first out kind of deal, the other Jaguars I’ve owned for 20+ years, they’re part of the family
I understand it’s a bit of an oddball thing and maybe not entirely collectible / sellable.
I am looking for £2200-ish.....but I’m very much open to offers or trades. Looking for Fender / Rickenbacker / Gibson......no pointy, shreddy, scalloped tasteless, hair metal types..... also no humbuckers. Old amps are good too.....

EDIT - A few people have asked about the neck - Yes, it is very clean, almost too clean for a 52 yr old piece of wood. I have added some pictures to the gallery.

This is the exception to the rule, it plays great, the neck is medium sized, I think they slimmed down for the later dot & bound necks, this one has chunkier shoulders......if I'm perfectly honest I'd keep the guitar if the fretboard was darker....I know that's ridiculous..!!!!!
I'm open to trades, as much as I'd miss this guitar...I do have other Jaguars to look at and not play, ever.

Are those original tuners, with a replacement "A"?
It's the original trem, but a Mustang bridge? Do you have the original bridge?
Do you have the original pickups?
Do you have any more details about how a barely worn '65 neck came to meet a '68 body?
In short - I like it, but am not sure of the value.
I have not a lot to offer in trade, unless you like Traynor amps?

2 - I do have an original bridge, I'll have to swap it with the mustang bridge.
3 - I do not have the original pickups, I received the guitar minus pickups and fitted the Mojo units. They sound good.
4 - Sorry no.....it's a bit of a mystery wrapped in an enigma drizzled with conundrum trapped in vortex.
