Have you tired them side by side? I love a good AC and totally get the attraction and I also have no idea what other amps you might have to play with but I can see potential for regrets there. 

Conversly, if you have a nice AC and fancy a change, this could be a great deal

In some more perfect alternate universe someone will read my post  and reply saying "I have an AC15 and live 200 yards away, bring it round and we can compare them side by side"....

Artisan 15 combo FS/FT

I picked up an AC30, so this is sitting around.

trades, in my dotage I have developed a fondness for country, so maple-neck teles, acoustics, vox amp of similar value. (£450?)
