If you like - or can at least tolerate - the wide neck, it's a good price. If you can't then it doesn't matter how cheap it is - unless you're simply planning to resell it. I can't, and I would be careful about buying one unless it was even cheaper than that, since the resale market is fairly limited.

I also can't stand the hideous headstock logo, and although it could be removed it's not a DIY job to do it well. The other problems (tuners, nut, missing pot) are more easily fixed.

They do indeed have the LP sound - no difference that I could make out comparing it to a full fat LP.

Seen adverts like this a few times on amazon. Few weeks ago they had a LP 2016 traditional in light burst for little over a grand, not fulfilled by amazon. The other colours were 1699 or whatever and fulfilled by amazon. The ad lasted maybe a few hours before it disappeared. Sure it's some kind of scam but I can't imagine how it would work.
