SOLD ES-175 Orville by Gibson

1991 Orville by Gibson ES-175. Excellent condition. I had this imported from Japan a couple of years ago. I've used it only in a home studio (smoke free) environment.

For those curious, Orville by Gibson guitars are actually Japanese-built guitars that Gibson licensed. Gibson signed a deal with Fuji Gen Gakki to build Gibson-approved copies in their Japanese factory and distribute them in the Japanese market. All guitars are exact copies of authentic Gibson instruments.
In other words, these are as good as the Gibson Custom Shop models and far more affordable.

This really is a great guitar that sounds wonderful both clean and with overdrive. The neck is the 60's slim profile - the only reason I am selling it as I just can't get used to anything other than the 50's necks.

There are a few of these available from Japan on Ebay right now at around the £1250 mark.

I'd let this go for £1100 but would consider trades as well.

If it’s anything like my 335 59 reissue this will be a superb guitar.

What kind of thing are you looking for as a trade?

Open to anything with a fatter neck really. Ideally something of hollow-body nature but not essential.

Not sure if this is the done thing, but is it OK to make an offer via a private message, or is the price stated the last word?  I in no way want to upset the apple cart, but I love the look of this but can't run to your price. Apologies for the late update, the guitar was sold a couple of weeks ago.
