     so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    I don't know how old the catalogue shown is, but if it's the same age as the guitar then consider this:

    £56.85 in 1974 would, after inflation, be £654.45 now. That's a hell of a shift in buiying power.

    Yup, even shit guitars were shockingly expensive in the 70s. I paid £18 for my s/h Top Twenty. That was a week’s wages, before tax.

    More like stupidity. It looked cool, but it was a truly terrible guitar. The Columbus Les Paul that replaced it was so much better: that tells you all you need to know.
