Help with tone pot wiring, loose wire and no idea where it goes

My Squire Strat Tone has stopped working, it has been modified in the past and has one bridge humbucker and two singles but only one tone knob. Anyway the tone has stopped working so I had a look and there is a loose wire and I am not sure where it should go to. I have sketched it out and also taken a few pictures and if anyone can tell me where it needs to go I would be most grateful.

It goes from the volume pot to the lug on the tone pot. The one with solder on.

Thank you so much, the loose cable wasn’t long enough which really threw me. Anyway I soldered a new link in and I now have my tone knob working perfectly.
