I recently sent my Jackson Mark Morton guitar to the boy’s @FelineGuitars for some care and attention - while I liked this guitar I always disliked the thin vintage style frets and the pickups (which were SD 59's) were pretty mediocre.

So off it went to London with a set of Oil city Blackbird ‘Ulfberht’ pickups I’d picked up in Oil City's January sale.

The result is this rather fine looking beast:

The frets have been replaced with 6000 size wire making is silky and smooth to play and @TheGuitarWeasel pickups are simply fabulous – all in all the guitar sounds better and is easier to play – it came to practise with me today and acquitted itself very well indeed!

An amazing job as always from the guys at Feline and Oil City, cannot say enough good things about both :)

I'm just getting acquainted with Feline big, fat frets.  They're seductive, ain't they? :)

Indeed they are - when Jonathan first sprung the idea on me I was dubious but my goodness he was right :)
