Grand (est) Strat

What's Hot
I know Jack - I may even be posting this in the wrong place but here goes...I've just missed an Eric Johnson strat on the forum couldn't travel the 400 miles necessary until Easter and meanwhile it sold. But I'm now wondering whether this is the best strat you can buy for IRO a grand - pre-owned. (My heart is set on a two tone sunburnt burst finish but otherwise open). Needed for blues/melodic/classic rock.

Grateful for any and all advice.

cheers

in a vintage based format then yes IMO one of the best USA replica models you can buy before getting into the Custom Shop league

If you want more modern spec, with locking tuners, floating fulcrum trem etc then look elsewhere

Some avri models can be had under a grand, some of which are great
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.
