    EQD palisades.

Got the TS for a normal boost, plus an extra boost on top of that for nudging solos up a bit more.

I'm running an SHO always on to drive the preamp hard and mainly using the guitar's volume. I'm trying a zombie klone for a modern bluesey lead sound but I haven't quite got to grips with it.

  • I've just been thinking about this and every pedal on my board, bar my reverb &  tuner, has the ability to boost my jcm800 in some form or another.

Even my dd500 delay and POG2 get used as boosters in some songs

I have used at least the following:

    (1) Volume control rolled up from 6 or 7 to 10
    (2) As (1) in combination with a Fuzz Face
    (3) As (1) in combination with a Cali76 compressor, set so that it will go from quiet-and-hardly-compressed to louder-and-quite-compressed
    (4) As (3), running into a Wampler Paisley Drive
    (5) Switch in a compressor (currently SlideRig), or overdrive set to low gain (e.g. Hot Cake)
