An ususual Pre-Historic Gibson Les Paul Reissue from the mid eighties.

I have had this a long time. After travelling to view the guitar I was initially furious to discover that the guitar was a special order from the "custom shop" with an ebony board. But then I picked up the guitar and immediately noticed how "different" ebony feels on a "Les Paul Standard" (as opposed to a Les Paul Custom).
After maybe another 20 seconds I had also decided on a refret with the biggest wire my guitar tech would dare to use.
