I’m after an old Japanese Boss CE-2
I have a few things for trade first...plus cash either way, or an outright purchase

also After SD-1 & OD-1

Just fancied an original really...I might have to rethink though, as the original CE-2’s are fetching big money

If you bide your time you can get one for good money. Mine is a MIT green label bought from here for £75 all in. No box, but immaculate condition. Sounds spectacular.

I think in all honesty the difference between the two is so inconsequential that even the most cork-sniffery of Internet wisdom struggles to perceive it.

Converted to run 9v dc and some upgraded metal film caps. From this very forum from Someone  who is vintage Boss collector. Should land in a few days. I've gone a bit mentalist and put together a Boss board. PH1r, BF-2, CE-2, DD-2, TR-2 and drive to be decided on..so feel free to shout out your favs....

I'm amazed so far.. I really missed Boss stuff during the early days, apart from the Blues driver but the Flanger sounds like a Flanger I hear on records...Same with Chorus and Trem. 
I know they mess with bypass signal a bit, but I really like them.

I’ll never be without a PS-3, and the CE-2 will take some beating too.
