    Ah, the joy of plywood.

And what would a "serious offer" be for a THIRTY YEARS OLD MIK Epiphone S-500?

In my experience, these struggle to make much...£75 - £150 absolute max (on an extremely good day, if sold to a deaf, dumb and blind man who probably played a mean pinball).

I've got a modified S-900 somewhere (through neck, solid body) - it was the only one in the S-Range which wasn't bolt-on/laminate.

    WBM EpiWiki info here.

Benefit of the doubt, typo - decimal point should be two places to the left.

  • Thought I was missing something when it popped up, was on the lookout for a first guitar for grandson, something that stays in tune longer than a few strikes on the strings.

Then I saw the add and just thought Wow.

Sale or trade for an Epiphone EJ200 , which is about £400 brand new. Even that seems optimistic.

    Far too high.

    a. It’s not very rare.
    b. It’s not moderately rare.
    c. It’s not even slightly rare.
    d. A serious offer would be £50 - £75

This came up on a local facebook group, where £12,345 is often used as shorthand for trade or offers.

That's hilarious, almost as funny as our favourite white Les Paul custom.

You reckon he'll take come down to £10,000 for me?

Tempted to put in a cheeky offer.
