WTB: Something £200-250

What's Hot
Alroght gents, looking for a backup guitar for live stuff, was using an SG but the balance from a Les Paul to that just feels too weird.

So, my rules:
No back-placed strap buttons
No vintage radius fretboards

otherwise, what’s out there?

  • So you're saying you don't want rear strap buttons?

I have 2 Hondo 335 copies, one in walnut with a tiger top and one in cherry sunburst. Could always move the buttons to the upper horn on either of them...

Lovely warm and powerful pickups on the cherry and the walnut has a similar sound to my Les Paul studio.

I have a PRS SE One that used to belong to @ellwood that sadly for me isnt being used. Would be £150 (what i paid for it last month) its a great sounding guitar with a few marks but has the upgraded bridge. No bag though. The P90 sounds pure rawk n roll!now minus the sticker.

Hanks for the suggestion so far gents, at the moment I’m seriously eyeing up that PRS (not something I’d have thought I’d say, but wow)! Keep em coming though...

A depressingly good price. (Depressing to other PRS SE One owners.)

Have you tried a Hamer XT Sunburst - essentially, an LP DC - or the LTD EC-256? Both would benefit from pickup upgrades if you expect passable Gibson tones.

You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I have a 611, if you are selling a good condition one in the OP"s budget of £250-£300, I think that that is a superb buy as IMHO they are superb guitars.
Very playable & loads of tone options.

I’m sorted now, picked up a lovely Burny Standard (Super Grade) but dear God, I’d have bitten your hand off for that!

@mikeyrob73 - PRS is all yours!
