Visual Sound VS-XO too - between that and the Angry Driver there aren't many drive tones I can't cover.
VS-XO is better than the KOT too.

Big fan of the EQD Gray Channel.

Does boost through to fuzz. However it does have its own distinct flavour, so it's kind of versatile within its own genre, as it were...

The Raygun FX Dual Soda Drive is crazy value for money. Sounds ace and handbuilt in the uk!

    Foxrox ZIM.

Lovely filter section, and interchangeable cards for each side so you can have all sorts of different dirt flavours.
This. Also ridiculously over-built. Could be used in self defence to inflict wicked blunt force trauma if the need arises.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

    This, hands down.

Or best-sounding ;). But he did say Most Versatile, which that one undoubtedly is :). It can even change the channel on your amp or other outboard gear at the same time.

What annoys me about it is that out of all the sounds it has that are also on the ME-50, pretty much the only one it doesn't do is the 'Natural Overdrive', which is the best one.

Loving my Juansolo 'Double Tom'.  Versatile enough to be versatile but simple enough to be simple.

The Timmy provides clean boost and light drive, the Guv provides more gain and grit.  The 3 band e.q. is very useful as well.

effectrode Blackbird,  sublime clean channel complemented by a fairly shite overdrive channel
Exactly that! Loved the cleans but too big to keep just for that

If you can get one, the Goosoniqueworx 7thvn. It's from Singapore and at 12vDC sounds like the front end of an amp. Best dynamics & low noise too. But no longer made and very pricey.
