Well there's certainly a bit of Queen involved.

Cool idea. Are they really made of metal, or are they plastic that looks like metal ?

It's a real coin, an 1889 Florin from what I can gather.
Tried playing with it earlier, it'll take getting used to the extra thickness/stiffness/weight but it certainly gives a different tone.

*EDIT* Saying that, it could be a repro impression for all I know. I'll need to ask.

@DiscoStu I'd be surprised if anyone would cut up a genuine florin. I quite like rigid picks, as the tighter you grip it the more attack you get to each note. With a soft pick you can't articulate like that. My favourite is the Jim Dunlop stainless, I think the gauge is 0,52mm

She was permanently unhappy after Albert died. And, tbh, she looked like it. She probably couldn't find another man with a ring in the end if his willy.

Did you get 52 packets of replacement strings to go with it?

Looks like a real coin but very badly worn so not really a collectable (relic doesn't count for those guys - amatures).

You can get locked up in the Tower of London for defacing a coin of the realm.

doesn't that depend on if the coin is legal tender? I doubt if a florin still is.

However thing perked up a bit after she met Dr. Who, battled the werewolf and formed Torchwood.

(Note, I am not some mad Dr. Who fan, I've just watched that episode with my son on Netfilx!)
