One of the problems is that CITES only meets every 2 years and rules can only be changed at said meetings (ie, not in the interim) so progress is glacial...

Absolutely!! Just wish they had thought a little harder in the first place so it’s not come to hope & prayer that something *might* get done.

Absolutely!! Just wish they had thought a little harder in the first place so it’s not come to hope & prayer that something *might* get done. 

the quote from the CITES representatives  at a NAMM Show was they did not realise a second hand market existed
