Foot switch for changing 2 trs amps simultaneously?!

Hi all,
thinking bout running 2 amps (Friedman SS and a Ceriatone Ots) into a stereo cab simultaneously.
To avoid the tap dance routine is there a readily available switcher that can do this in stereo or am I best just to bite the bullet and go gigrig or boss?

NUX PMS-2 handles the switching, but would need to be controlled from a MIDI footswitch, which is going to set you back another £100 or more.

Surely you could just rig something up yourself and put the footswitches so close together that you'd easily be able to push both at the same time?

any dual amp switch could do it, if you put a stereo splitter at the end to each amp, and then hit both with your foot at the same time.

or make one, or get bright onion to make one, doubt it'll be any more than £30

If you've got a complex rig with MIDI and TRS switching and all that jazz, a switcher is probably the simplest (and potentially the cheapest) way to do it all. 

The Gigrig looks to be fairly limited in terms of what it can do with MIDI- the Boss ES- loopers are more capable on paper.
