I messaged him asking if it was still for sale got a message straight back saying yes then replied asking when I could go to view it n collect. He's now gone quiet

sometimes the scam is simply to say that there are loads of people who want it but a £30 deposit secures it.
They then get £30 off 30 bargain buyers and have the best part of £1000 to buy their drugs with.
The clever bit is that people realise too late that they were scammed but don't end up doing a lot pro-active about it because it's only £30
