  • Sorry if I'm being a numpty, but are there two versions of this amp, or is it one version capable of running 6V6 and 6L6 tubes? I've looked on the website and it's not clear to me..

    The newest version has the ability to swap valves (needs rebiasing but is easy I think. ) Also has a switch in place of one of the inputs - increases gain - but you can still jumper it if you want to. Mine is in 6V6 format at the moment.

    I am quite tempted, but I think it might be a bit too much amp for home use...
