Recommendations for nitro safe vintage style strap?

I'm hankering after a vintage style leather strap (the thin strap with shoulder pad) to go permanently on my LP (will be using  rubber washers as strap locks) could you fine chaps recommend one that is nitro safe please? The last thing I want is a reaction that marks my guitar so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That's what I was hoping but if I remember correctly there was a thread a while back where someone's leather strap had a reaction to the finish on his guitar and it left horrible marks over it. Would it be what the leather is tanned with?
