Case recommendations for flying with budget airlines.

Looks like I’m going to be doing some stuff that involves flying in a few months. 

I’ve flown with guitars before (and had two ABS cases wrecked by baggage handlers, guitar survived both times though). Just wondered if there was anything better than the standard ABS type cases around now?

It’ll probably be my Tele that’ll be making the trips as it’s somewhat more robust than my other guitars.

I have a radical suggestion - If you're checking a suitcase, unbolt the neck, wrap both the neck and body in padding/clothes. Re-assemble at the other end...

Thanks chaps, Hiscox it is then. Wasn’t planning on a suitcase as well so the dismantle idea won’t be an option.

Have a look at Scott Dixon cases.  I use the triple for most gigs are they built like a tank but still very light.
