Q: is this the right switch for Fishman power chip?

I'm about to have a power chip installed, before I order one could I please check this the right type of switch needed for the optional mag/mag&piezo/piezo? http://www.northwestguitars.co.uk/dpdt-on-off-on-mini-toggle-guitar-switch-for-coil-tapping-phase-switching/

It's an on/off/on switch as detailed on page 10 of the manual https://www.fishman.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Powerchip-User-Guide.pdf

That should work, you've linked a double pole switch, but you only need a single pole. You just use one side of the switch

In the overall guitar circuit, the on/off/on switch functions by shorting out the magnetic or piezo signal. Hence, the need for the centre off position. i.e. No path to ground.

There are ways to configure a DPDT on/on/on switch to perform the same selector function. I shall not bore you with those here.

Better still, use both halves in parallel - more reliable.
