Anyone know how I could get a font for free?

I've tried a few times and had no joy.

The best alternative is usually to see if Google Fonts has anything close.  Some of their stuff is lawsuit-near.

But if it's that specific font or nothing (and I fully understand!) then you might be out of luck unless you're prepared to acquire it illegally.

Nice looking font. If I wanted it for a logo I'd draw the shapes in illustrator.

Many fonts are available free. Just search for things like "free fonts" "Metronic Pro" "download". It's all a bit hit and miss but sometimes you can be lucky.

Now just imagine someone used a song/tune you’d created without your permission or without paying the required fee. Pissed off? I imagine so.

I know very little about fonts but wouldn’t the easy way be to just buy it?

Eh? So all music is free to use without licence? You mean people freely invest time and resources and just give the product away freely?

It would ... which is what I intend to do. I merely asked if anyone knew where to get it for free on the off chance I was missing it somewhere.

£17 for a font sounds more lucrative than music! And nothing to carry either, !
