I had one very briefly,  i wasnt that impressed, demos sound great but the reality was a disappointment, if i was you i would wait for Free The Tones new String Slinger pedal which i know from personal experience sounds superb, has an infinitely better build quality, cleans up like a good fuzz does...in short the best of its type i have heard period

The Vertex is a mediocre clone of a Jack Orman booster. Vertex is a marketing (and in the past, proven fraud) operation and nothing else. The Free the Tone suggestion is much more likely to yield a quality, good sounding pedal.

what struck me most about the vertex was how flimsy it felt, the contrast between it and how heavy and solid the FTT is could not be more marked
