There is going to be a TFB gig, and possible (probable @Legionreturns ? ) open mic section.  Plus an opportunity for a few beers

However "bad" you think you are, you probably aren't, and will be supported in whatever you want to achieve, and also be able to help others achieve things as well.

Nothing you can do will help you progress more as an amateur musician at beginner or intermediate level than playing with others, and there is no better environment to do that than the TFB jam.

With the decision that Tony and Lee have had to make to take a step back, making this jam, maybe the last one for a little while, a big success may be enough to point the way forwards for the forum as a community of musicians who despite the differences in our tastes and backgrounds, are brought together by our love of music and guitar playing.

Come along, pretty please.  Especially anyone who came to quad or Woking or Northampton.  If anything is putting you off, plow into this thread and we will try to set your minds at ease I'm sure.

Incidentally, this is not aimed at anyone who has already decided not to come, I'm not aware there are good reasons for people to do other things!  I'm sure some people are still on the fence though

There definitely WILL be an open mic / acoustic set before the main gig. No ambiguity,  plenty of volunteers so far and I'm sure more to come.

I'd love a few of the many TFB members I've met or chatted to in threads who I know are mostly "home players" like me to join me in making my live debut at the open mic, would be great

Okay, after being on the fence since this was announced I'm now approx 83.7% certain that I can get that Saturday off work, so I'll sign up!

What's the crack with song lists? Is it the same list of songs for both the Sat and Sun at the studio?
