So, I bought this on a bit of a whim and have another strat that I play more. So it just sits looking cool.

It's an as new (and I mean as new) absolute stunner in 2 Tone Sunburst and full relic, and has the hot Ancho handwound pickups.

Nice chunky neck, with a U shape, which doesn't feel overly big when played.

Original case, coa, paperwork and Cruz Tool Kit!

Nice weight at 7.6lb and a lovely feel.

18 Months Old - £1950.

I have an Ancho Poblano and have to say (so have a free bump) that it's my favourite Strat ever. Nothing weedy about the best neck Fender ever made nor the bridge pickup which sounds amazing.

  • Thanks for all the comments guys.

It's a stunner - the big neck is big but doesn't feel too big at all and I'm normally an oval tele neck player. It's really nice to get hold of.

Pup wise the Handwound Ancho pickups have got some really nice tones, they're hot so they can be sweet and really kick when you want.

I’ve wanted one of these for a year or two.
alas, house re-model has drained the piggy bank.

    Utter bargain.
My Ancho is my favourite strat. I stupidly sold one, then got another almost immediately as I had serious seller remorse. The large neck makes them resonate like nothing else

I agree......... there's definitely something special about them!.......the odd bout of gas has made me consider selling mine over the last year.....but every time I plug her in it strengthens my resolve to keep her!
