I'm in Bromley.  Does anyone relatively close by - Kent, Surrey, London say -  have one of these with the original pickups in that I could listen to.  Since mine has never had the original setup, I'm intrigued to know what it should sound like.

    Which year? The Classic Electric / CE has been through several changes of body wood and pickups.
