Though I've changed quite a lot since them. Sold quite a few, recycled a few and built some others...

Oh and I have two commercial pedals (a WET reverb and a EQD Rainbow machine) and a AD/A Flanger clone made by someone else.

    Addiction... what's that then?
    And the winner is ........
    :)
More importantly, have they ever all been used at the same time?

And I've got shares in Duracell so I expect a healthy sales surge prior to your experiment...

Reading these lists of pedals makes me realise my GAS isnt so bad after all :)

    4 Boss distortions
    2 Boss Delays
    Boss chorus
    Boss flanger
    Boss Trem
    Boss Tuner
    Digitech synth wah
    EHX POG 2
    EHX Ravish Sitar

There might be a few others in a draw somewhere !!

I usually have about 8 squeezed on a modified Boss BCB60 pedal board for gigs.

  • I have 10 pedals, of which 7 are on a pedalboard, two are in their boxes (wah and autowah) and cycle in and out out of the board when the mood strikes, and the other goes with my bass.

I used to have a lot more, with spares and so on. At one point I had a Boss DS-1, DN-2 and MT-2 and never used any of them since they were just backups. I ended up selling them all - life is too short to hoard spares.

Saw this thread and by the title it said "46 new"... that pretty much sums up my relationship with pedals...

I used to have about 20 or 30. Then when I was in a prog type band I changed to a single rack mount TC unit controlled via a MIDI floor board. Been in a blues band for years now so all of that has been removed from my current live rig and resides in my studio for recording use only. For my current band I stripped it straight back to straight from guitar to amp via lava cables. Slowly been reintroducing a very modest board though.

Now all I currently have is:

    TC Mini Polytuner
    Keeley 4 Knob Comp
    Mooer Clean Boost
    CAE-404 Wah.

    Thats it!

Really not much need for anything other than this, given the style of blues we do. I've started using my own Super Hard-On clone in place of the Mooer, and sometimes I take my own Cornish G-2 clone out for bigger venue gigs. Two things I'd like in future would be perhaps some mild chorus. I'm also in a dilemma that my Orange does not have built-in verb and running my EHX Nanoverb in front of the amp is just a no go area. I generally give it a little via the P.A using the digital desks reverbs.

Since started, I have acquired a Digitech multichorus, for all the 80's goodness it provides, and shall have a Mk1 Guv'nor.

    Taking the total to 22.

    Addiction? Moi?

I had a board with about 14-16 pedals on. it was silly.

    At the moment

    Vox V847 USA wah
    EB Volume pedal
    Wampler ecstasy Drive
    Carl Martin Two Faze
    Danelectro Cool Cat 18v
    TC Flashback
    Monkeyfx Chubby Chimp Boost
    Korg Pitchblack

    8 at the moment

Although I may be buying my SloStortion pedal back haha, wouldn't mind a reverb pedal, univibe clone, Klon clone, octavio fuzzy clone. And that will be about it.....well maybe an octave pedal and a compressor :P

I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.
