Very belated NGD - Bacchus LP

Very belated as in I got this before Christmas. Bacchus Craft Series Les Paul which I picked up second hand. The seller told me he’d imported it from Japan and I’ve been in touch with Deviser-Bacchus who confirm it’s a 2014 model, made in Japan and 2 piece body.

As far as I can make out from the info online, it’s African Mahogany (neck and body), maple cap and natural oil finish. Hardware is Gotoh and I replaced the stock pickups with Iron Gear Dirty Torque (bridge) and Blues Engine (neck). Note the truss rod cover - I’m not sure whether I like it or not!

Plays great and sounds better. On to the pics....

I like that a lot @Lord_Spanielchip, the finish on the back in particular is superb, the open pores of the Mahogany not being filled is something I like.  

Bacchus guitars wasn't a company I was aware of and I had a look at their website and I wish I hadn't, some of their guitars were quietly whispering to me 'Go on there big boy.  You know you would be much happier if you had that particular guitar'

Cheers folks. I wasn’t aware of Bacchus myself until I stumbled across them in a search for an alternative to Gibson.

They do a handmade model called The Duke (Laura Cox has/had a signature model) which is very nice.
