Anyone have idea of value of this? Trying to work it out but failing with google as getting wide range of prices. Thinking of moving it on, or part-exchanging in local guitar shop, as it sounds fantastic but my little hands don't like the fat neck!

Thanks for reply - will take some pics in the daylight tomorrow. After a hollow body Gretsch so this would definitely help with paying for that.

Has a couple of dings, one shown on neck. Love telecaster sound, but the necks I've tried aren't much fun for my left hand.

Is it a modern radius and frets or vintage?

Is it a Made in Japan or Crafted in Japan model?

You sure that's a standard? I thought the standard (TL-STD - Japanese domestic market base model) had headstock truss rod adjust and top load bridges. The one in this thread is a TL-Std http://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/134686/ngd-bargain#latest  Pull the neck and look for the model stamp.

Thanks for questions - massive help with googling it as looks like it's a MIJ 50s Telecaster. Has Made in Japan on back, know it's 1996 from serial number and 50th anniversary sticker, and standard MIJ tele of this time had a 6 saddle bridge as @gavin_axecaster ;says

Probably a bit niche for local guitar shop so might put on here for a trade or something.

Looks like it might be a TL-52.

Edit, though the article you posted suggests it isn't!

Right, we've had the neck off. TL52DEX2. But then the article says that doesn't help much either!
