I'd suggest you need to think about right and wrong.  Comments are what they are, regardless of intention.  

It has nothing to do with the thickness of my skin.  Everybody should be offended at comments that put down other groups of people, however intended; that's the definition of racism.

I'm Irish.  Jokes about Irish people are by definition based on putting me down, or more importantly, my family.

I would say exactly the same thing if someone joked about black people, gay people, etc.

No it’s not the guy I remember who used to post on Fastfude.  That was a different guy who used to lie about anything he was selling.
