New pickguard on my Jaguar

I bought a tort pickguard from @jellybelly and it’s produced the effect I hoped it would. With a white (or even mint green) guard the guitar looked more salmon pink than Fiesta Red. Now it looks like a slightly washed-out deep red. Even makes the fretboard look darker. Good move!

    My eyes!!!
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Not bad tort that - not bad at all.

Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

I'm probably the only member of this forum mentioned by name in Whiskey in the Jar ;)

I always find that tort is remarkably difficult to photograph. That looks good - I'm a fan of fiesta red and tort offsets. :-)

Dirty bastard. Mint or black are the only legitimate options.
