WTB - Squier 51

Looking for one of these - ideally the original version (early to mid 2000's) with the bigger necks.

They did have a couple in the guitar store in Southampton last time I was there about a year ago. Newer ones though I think. And highly priced iirc.

As I recall, @EricTheWeary used to have one, but I wouldn't swear to it.

I've got a MIJ Fender 51 rather than a Squier. To me one of Fender's best designs, to others an anathema. I don't know if Lovestrat means the Fender as they have the bigger necks? 
The original Squiers were such a common base for modding the problem now is finding one that's not been messed around with. I guess there must be a bunch of the 2013 reissues out there somewhere.

Yes i am lookinf for a cheapy not a 500£ + mij. Not too bothered if it has been modded as I am going to have a but of fun with it myself. There's not many out there on the market at the mo. Probably one of those "bus" type guitars..

Have you seen what Randy Schartiger has done to his? He's my favourite you tube guitar fixer -  he's done a few about it.

I like him too but that was a long vid to show the guitar without a pg.  He is mental
