SOLD - Valley Arts - Brent Mason Signature Telecaster
What's Hot
The Ultimate Tele'?
Brent Mason is touted as the most recorded session guitarists on the planet. His Valley Arts signature model is based on his Joe-Glaser-modified 1968 Fender Telecaster that was put together for maximum session flexibility - he still uses it daily.
A Gibson mini-humbucker in the neck position, a Duncan Hot Stack for Strat in the middle, and Duncan Classic Stack for Tele at the bridge. The middle pickup is on a complete separate volume control so it can be blended in with the other pickups (or used on its own). It also has a push-pull control for series to parallel.
Hand built in the Gibson Custom shop in 2003 after they bought Valley Arts guitars. It has a fairly chunky neck with medium jumbo frets. It deliver classic Tele spank, Gibson warmth and a whole lot of extra sounds in between.
It's pretty much like new and comes with original case & candy. Only for sale as I am mid-build with another Brent Mason Tele' with a B-Bender (this one is way too clean to start routing). It was just shy of £3,000 new... and that was a good few years ago!
