If you're not bothered about the colour & signature, don't forget the Squier Jazzmaster deluxe- it's reportedly the same guitar, but red and £285 new.

I have one of those Squier deluxe Jazzmasters, and it is indeed more or less the same. Think there's some discussion on the frets being medium jumbo on these instead of jumbo, and the pickups not being as hot. Other than that it's the same guitar.

A killer deal brand new for the price. The candy apple red finish is great too.

Thanks @stimpsonslostson I will check it out. Didn't realise these were essentially the same. I actually prefer candy apple red (though I'd have to change the pickguarf to a tortoiseshell) so will end this thread and source a shop that's sticking them to go and have a try. Cheers.
