Line 6 Helix through the Line 6 Power Cab

Hi All,

I have been using a helix purely for effects in the loop of a tube amp

I am thinking about trying a Line 6 Power cab with the Helix before caving in and buying a Kemper again

Anyone got any experience with the Helix Amp sims

Given I already have the Helix I would only be looking to invest and extra 500 vs £2k for a kemper if thoughts can be given with that in mind I would appreciate it

I think there are better options than the Line 6 cab, like a 2nd hand Atomic CLR, or one of the Matrix cabs.

I've looked at the MAtrix befote but didn't like their power amps so have shyed away from the cabs - never tried an Atomic

The Red Sound cabs also get good reviews.

They are the best Ive played, through a Kemper.

YEah I could get a powered Kemper and a Foot controller for the price of the Gemini 2 - they better be good LoL

I was thinking the Line 6 as it seems to have been designed to replace the guitar cab which is what I want - I just want to have the same/similar sound as my amp plus a 2x12 -

Let me know if you're after a Powered Kemper, as mine might be up for sale
