Unexpected NGD - Casino Coupe

Headed off to Kent this morning from West Dorset for a big family dinner. 2 hours later we hadn't even got to the New Forest so we phoned our apologies and turned back.

'I just need to nip into Absolute Music on the way home to buy a tuner as mine is dead' said I.

I then made the mistake of trying the Epiphone Casino Coupe whilst I was there. Seriously for £350 this is loads of fun.

I was doing quite well with the guitar related overdraft until the heavy traffic scuppered it. I really need to sell a guitar now so my Feline FS thread is about to be resurrected !

How are you finding the epi pickups? I’ve always found them a touch hot

All good guitar acquisition stories start with telling the other half "Oh I'll just be a minute, I need a new X for my guitar. I'll be quick."

Looks the part! I'd love to hear what sort of tones you can get with that set up.

Thanks guys and tbh my first thought was how mellow the P90s were compared with the angry one in my DC Jr.

It just feels really playable, it's got 10s on and the action feels nice and taught but with enough give to bend easily.

Maybe I"m not the greatest of judges though as every guitar I've ever bought has been my favourite guitar ever for the first week or so
