Price drop: Hiwatt Higain 50 2x12

edited August 2018 in Amps £
Absolute beast of a brute of an amp. Does those brutal huge Hiwatt cleans every bit as well as you'd hope, with the added bonus of a rocktastic drive channel.

One small graze in the tolex, otherwise as brand new. Never gigged, been sat in our rehearsal space for six months, used once a fortnight. Comes with multi function footswitch and manual written by a six year old child.

Just bought a '78 JMP 50W combo, kind of my dream amp, so this has to go. £999 new, cheapest used I can find on ebay is £699, so I reckon £600 is a proper gnarly price unless you know different.

It's quite compact for a 2x12, but still weighs more than a horse. Collection only from Brighton, please.

Hiwatt pricing is all over the shop at the moment to be honest fella.
    I couldn't even make a suggestion
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • Price drop to £500.  That's less than a pound per bollock.
