Reactive load noob question

Looking into a reactive load box like the suhr.

Noob question

If gigging I assume you can power your on stage cab/speaker as normal AND run DI to the desk? I notice the boxes load is bypassed when speaker cab connected, but assume the DI still works in parallel?

Does the Suhr have a built in cabinet simulator? Otherwise it won't sound very good DI'd

You'd need something like the Mooer? mini IR pedal before it hits the desk.

Yeh I've just come to that realisation! Now I know why the Ox box or two note is so expensive as it's all in one!
