For sale due to lack of space/use is my rare Carr Bloke. If you like everything from Plexi to Hot Rod'd Marshall then this is for you.
Allegedly only 76 of these were ever made.
It's a two channel affair fitted with the optional effects loop. Build quality is amazing - totally point to point in that there are no tag boards or PCB'S.

Channel 1 is switchable between classic Plexi ( very touch sensitive) and hot rod JCM800/Friedman BE sounds.

Channe  2 is a lead channel with what is in effect a tube screamer in circuit boosting the mids and delivering a cutting lead tone.

The loop is not buffered but includes the loop driver pedal to adjust the send and return or as I do you can use a buffered reverb pedal.

Channel switch footswitch included.

This is not an amp for clean tones but put a strat through the Plexi channel you will get instant Hendrix.

It is currently fitted with a Jensen Jet ceramic. This was a bit of a find and really works with this amp but I will also include the standard Carr Elsinore speaker.

Pickup only on this one please but may be able to meet if not too far. Located close to Witney Oxon.

Totally fabulous amp, and really underrated; should be part of the Carr legend. Found mine in Italy via a trade for my PRS SC 245...don't miss this opportunity. Drop dead looks and sound.

  • ^^ What @dcg said ...

I had the pleasure of playing through one of these at Sounds Great a couple of years back. Took along my LP and it was instant Lizzy at shop-friendly volumes.

As I tend to require a genuine clean and crunch channel, I left it in the shop - but, it's a tone that's haunted me ever since. I also thought it would make for an excellent head conversion, and then whack it through a 2x12!

GLWS - hell of an amp on sale here, folks.

I’d love this , it’s just the wrong timing  for me financially unfortunately .  I had a Carr Mercury once that I shouldn’t have got rid of and from clips I’ve watched the Bloke sounds similar to the fully driven Mercury which is indeed a wonderful noise!

    Have a bump
