New Probett Rocket III day!

This one was very much worth the wait. Pictures are by Damian, cos they’re better than I could take.

Candy lime green (green over gold) 25.5” scale, set-in extra long tenon mahogany neck, one piece mahogany body, ebony board with 6105 ish frets (nickel silver). Bulldog P90s and a Mann made two post trem. Build quality is simply mind-blowing. Plays and sounds great, though I’ll save the full review till after the honeymoon period. Very happy right now!

Took a while for the pic to load and I wasn’t at all sure from the colour description whether to expect something hideous or divine.

Pretty much - mix up 50s Fender DNA with 50s Gibson DNA. This goes more in the Fender direction as it’s longer scale.

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone, it’s a wicked guitar, I’m exceedingly pleased with it.

That is bloody lovely. Have been looking at the Probetts. I really fancy a cross between my les Paul and my Tele that has some Strat styling - but isn’t a strat. I’m pretty sure this is it.. time to start saving.. congrats mate.
