Line 6 G30 Belt Clip

I've just purchased a Line 6 Relay G30 and managed to get a good deal as the belt clip was missing/broken.

I understand they're a bit of a problem on these units and would prefer to attach the transmitter to my strap rather than my belt.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? I'm thinking maybe a small camera case or similar which has a belt loop that i can then pop the transmitter in and attach to the strap.

I use mine inside my pocket (broke the clip on the first show!)! Since I change guitars during the set, having it on the strap is not a good option.

You want a Neotech medium pouch.

I can't remember what site I got mine from but some of the lesser known music stores a few pages into Google do them cheaper than the big companies

I have the G50 and just put 2 rounds of gaffer tape round the transmitter round my strap. Used to use velcro cable tie but it slipped out during a gig, the battery compartment flew open and they fell on to the stage. Spent half the song looking for them to put back in and get back up and running. Now its always duct tape and I've not had the same issue since...

That does look good.

Famous last words but I've been using my G30 with its original clip. 

It goes on my guitar strap at the back -- clipping onto one thickness of strap in the bit where you adjust the length.  Gawd knows how many hundreds of gigs it has done now.

Amazon do a good range of neo stuff and it's cheap I got a cover for my fx8 3 years ago and it's still perfect

I just use duct tape round my strap for my G50. Does the trick and as I use a detachable clip lock strap its easy to take on or off. Only time I have to remove it from the strap is to recharge the batteries.

I just used to stick it in my back pocket, with a longer cable than supplied between it and the guitar. I had a silent jack on the end meaning that swapping guitars mid set was painless and quiet.
