7" trem arm?

I see that Wudtone has a 7" trem arm option. Anyone tried that?

I had a longer trem arm from some cheap strat copy many years ago. It ended up on my main guitar as it had a tighter fit. I ended up trimming off the extra length one day and it lost it's mojo. 

I suppose that one could get the 7" and just cut the end off if it doesn't feel right.

I asked the wife if she'd prefer 7" and she said yes. I think she will be disappointed when she sees it though.
