Yes, but sometimes further back

the further back are the 'jimmy page' modification.  this one has the jimmy wiring but the std tailpeices

Is it just a mod?  I thought many of the later 60's ones had the tailpieces further back from the factory, not just the jimmy page styles or the ones that have been modded to be closer to it.  It can make finding strings for the 12 pretty difficult
